Busy, travel-filled October

Claire’s school had a charity run at the first of the month, so Claire participated in her first run. The 4-5 year-olds ran 200m, and it went up to 5K (which I walked) as the kids and adults got older. She ran fast-fast-fast and did a great job!

October 3 we left for our first return trip to the U.S. My friend Morgan was getting married in a beach town in South Carolina, so the best way we found to get there was to fly into Orlando and drive up the coast. While we were in Orlando, we went to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World and Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure. (I really wanted to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter). We drove up to the Pawleys Island, South Carolina area (just south of Myrtle Beach) and had a great time with friends celebrating Morgan and Richard’s wedding. Again, more pictures are online, both of the time in South Carolina and the wedding itself.

Post-wedding we drove back to Orlando, then flew to the Kansas City area to visit family and check in at our respective offices. We have really enjoyed being back and seeing family and friends.

La escuela de Claire tuvo una carrera para caridad – Claire corrió 200m muy rápida! 

El 3 de octubre fuimos a los Estados Unidos por primera vez para asistir una boda en Carolina Sur y para visitar familia en Kansas City. Volamos a Orlando, Florida y fuimos a Magic Kingdom de Disney World e Islas de Aventura de Universal Studios. ¡Nos pasamos muy bien!

Después de los parques, manejamos a Carolina Sur para la boda de mi amiga Morgan. ¡Nos encantó verles a nuestros amigos y la boda era maravillosa!

Después de la boda, manejamos a Orlando otra vez para volar a Kansas City. Aquí hemos estado visitando nuestra familia y trabajando en nuestras compañías.

Por fin, compré una nueva camera de SLR y he encantado experimentarlo.
